"REALITY AUGMENTED", PRATT (2017)
Incorporation of the principles of perspective and color theory, this piece is a research exercise for exploring perception and the construction of ‘reality’ through color harmony.
This two-point perspective surface continuously morphs using simultaneous contrast, with overlaps of color temperatures, tints, and shades. The constant reconfiguration of projected spaces plays with hue and value, creating complementary color vibration, leading to a colorful state of contemplation and enigma.
