"REALITY AUGMENTED", PRATT (2017)
Because the notion of “reality” is constructed by individual experience, so too is depth itself. Incorporating the principles of perspective and color theory, this piece is a research tool for exploring perception and color harmony.
This two-point perspective surface continuously morphs using simultaneous contrast, which overlaps color temperatures, tints, and shades. The constant reconfiguration of projected spaces plays with hue and value, creating complementary color vibration, leading to a colorful state of contemplation.
